[BLOCKER] Add option to disable Branded Short-Link Tracking

Category: Automations / Link Tracking
Priority: Critical / Blocking
Summary:
Please add an option to fully disable the CTR tracking / branded short-link redirection system - ideally as a global feature.
The current implementation of CTR link tracking is breaking user flows, causing link-opening failures, and negatively affecting Meta's algorithmic trust signals.
I need a way to opt out and send URLs exactly as entered .. with no rewriting, no shortening, and no branded redirect.
This feature is absolutely critical because the current link-rewriting mechanism makes automations unreliable and results in users reporting broken or suspicious links.
---
Problem Description:
The CTR tracking / branded redirect system modifies all links inside automations (not when using button in DMs manually)
This causes multiple serious issues:
- Users are unable to open the links
Several users reported that the redirected link cannot be opened.
This was expected from the beginning because:
Many antivirus products (e.g., Avast WebShield, Norton/Gen Digital) block tracking redirects
Meta/Instagram can treat tracking redirects as lower-quality or suspicious
The implementation uses problematic ECDSA curves & encryption parameters
Some browsers and corporate firewalls treat branded redirects as unsafe or as spyware
These lead to direct user complaints and broken flows in production.
- Manual replies do NOT use CTR links
When replying manually and adding a button, Replient does not use a shortened or branded link at all.
Tldr; Manual DMs work perfectly. Automations DO NOT.
This inconsistency is what causes the automation workflows to break and forces me to stop all activities temporarily.
- I do not need CTR analytics at all
All messages go to my API endpoint via Webhook, where I already handle all analytics myself.
The built-in CTR system is not needed and only introduces plenty of issues.
- Competitors already allow disabling link tracking
For example, ManyChat provides an option to disable shortened URLs globally.
Replient currently does not, which puts my business at risk.
- This directly impacts my ability to run automations
With broken links, automations become unusable.
This affects my customer experience, engagement, and conversion rates.

Requested Solution:
✔ Add a toggle to disable CTR/short-link branding entirely for an account
Account-level setting:
"Disable CTR Tracking / Do Not Rewrite URLs"
✔ Add the same toggle at the workflow level (optional)
Automation-level setting:
"Send original URL (no redirect, no shortening)"
✔ For now: Please disable CTR tracking for my account manually
While waiting for the feature, I kindly request disabling the CTR/short-link mechanism for my account immediately, exactly the same way that manual DM replies currently behave.
Why This Is Critical:
This is not a cosmetic/nitpick request.
It is a core functionality blocker affecting:
- Deliverability
- User trust
- Meta algorithm performance
- Automation reliability
- My business operations
I cannot continue running automations flawlessly until tracking links are disabled.
---
Additional Notes:
Replient should not enforce branded redirects when the user explicitly does not want or need CTR analytics.
Thank you in advance for delivering the fix ASAP.
I appreciate your help and fast responses.
This feature is extremely important for keeping Replient reliable and scalable for pro marketers.
